This year's Basel fair attracted over 200 galleries from 33 countries, exhibiting in the "Features," "Edition," "Galleries," and "Statements" sectors. Among them, 24 galleries participated for the first time, accounting for one-tenth of the total exhibitors. These newcomers brought works focusing on art historical materials, including Mignoni Gallery from New York, Ben Brown Gallery from London and Hong Kong, and Cardi Gallery from Milan. Meanwhile, some of the 24 new galleries focused on contemporary art, such as Bodega and Company from New York, Emalin from London, and Isla Flotante from Buenos Aires.
